A new faction for Eastern Front

This is the eastern front mod.
Out of a scientifical view the japanese-soviet war was no battle of the eastren front.
The topic eastern front means germany and axis and soviets.
Everything else isnt eastern front.

So out of my view: NO JAPS.

They world is east. If you start in New York City and go east, you go to London, then Berlin, Moscow,Tokyo, San Fracsioco, And back to New York. These are directions, not places.

For the USSR the Eastern Front was the Western Front. And Japs were on the Far Eastern Front

Based on Eastern front in Europe not Eastern Asia

If everyone wants to complain why don't the devs have us make a unit from a nation , and than turn it into a mod thats compatible with EF ,
 so one person could get on Corsaix and rename and reskin some volks and call them Finnish Jager troops I did actually do that but for some reason I can't play Coh with them in it  :d I screwed up somewhere , but where.....

Xristos this is exactly what we are talking about. As soon as the post starts: Bulgaria and the "following were minor participants" thing is just plain wrong cause one can say such about Bulgaria.

We don't have the place for everyone's nation. If we have to choose a nation we have to choose the one that (literally) contributed the most to the Germans battles throught the ENTIRE Eastern Front (so sorry Finland fans if we have those guys it would only be in an Army Group North based doctrine) I would think that the more obvious choice would be the Italians or perhaps the Hungarians. Anyway, i'm sure the Devs have already chosen their foreign troops. So lets just let this foreign units thing rest in pieces.

I haev an Idea!!!
What if the Developers made one unit that is upgraded to represent an area, something like this
Foreign support
-4 man squad of Germany's allies,
 -100 mp 5 pop
-no starting weapons
Upgrades:

Scandanavian sharpshooters-200mp-10Mu : your foreign support troops are from the northern regions and are skilled in long range combat
-Armed with 1 G43 , 3 scoped K98's

etc, OR it could be an upgrade that is bought to apply to all of one unit. Say the secondary unit building for example , it could have the foreign units from above but have the upgrades fr said unit be like the NKVD upgrade for conscripts, It would change them to represent an area whithout giving precise names.

I think that is a passable idea, although I´d make it in a different way.

Make Romanians the basic Foreign Support squad. Then, buy an upgrade in the building you produce them from to make a different nation´s squad. You can either keep the Romanians to use as basic/cannon fodder units, or buy the Finnish upgrade to make sharpshooter squads (four guys with slightly different skins and other weapons), etc...

) It seems you know nothing about romanian mountain hunters.They managed to break russian defense where germans failed many times.

The germans was good but too arrogant.When romanians told them about some defensive problems,germans has ignored the signals,and later events has proved to be true what was predicted.

Or make in every doctrine one special unit.
Doctrine X - allows you to produce Romanians
Doctrine Y - allows you to produce Finns
Doctrine Z - allows you to produce Hungarians
.... or other nationalities. In this way we can eat cake and have cake
