As of this time 1.05 should be out correct? Yet I can not update my version of EF it says 1.04 is up-to-date.

This thread is here expressly to talk about the future patch 1.05 which has been slowed down due to other work and lack of a member of the team.

(so yes, 1.04 is currently up to date)

The mod has almost completely died due to balance issues that have not been fixed in the last 3 months. Its a good mod, with a lot of effort, but if its unbalanced no one seems to care.

the new patch 1.05 will come in the near future, so just be patient. the devs are trying to fix the balance issues and test the new version rather than rushing it out...

I would say it died out before that due to the imbalanced release which is obviously the ex-lead's fault. People just aren't willing to give it a 2nd chance yet. They need some pro players from gamereplays to give it a shot and report back the balance changes in order to get the competitive crowd back in. Spreading by favourable word-of-mouth is the most effective type of advertising.

I would also suggest they release a brand new installer so that people don't patch to 1.01 with the old one and think that's up to date.
