VERSION TAGSFrom now on, can we have
Version Tags on all balance related posts so we know people are talking about the current patch and not just a random patch they seem to have.
Example:
Subject: [1.04] T-34 likes cakeReplace [1.04] with whatever patch number you have!Any posts violating this rule (from 3rd February 2010) will be asked to do so within 24 hours. If not done before this time, the Post will either be Locked or Deleted.

Eastern Front is designed to be a competitive
Player vs Player mod and as such it uses
vanilla balance, that is, it is balanced regardless of realism. Some realism still applies, of course, Tanks and infantry fit in their respective fields (IS-2 isn't a light Tank and Conscripts aren't elite infantry), but complaining that a T-34 can take 3 shots from a Tiger before it dies is NOT a
balance complaint so please get your knickers in a twist over EF's lack of this kind of pedantic realism elsewhere.
Further topics regarding
Realism in this forum will be
LOCKED. This includes disscussion of units such as the Maus and other such tanks.
Game balance issues are NOT 'aww that's a pistol, it doesn't do that in real life'.
Balance concern would be something like 'a single t90 burst wiped out the squad in the stone house, that's unbalanced'
If you just must have realism and Soviets, wait for version 2.0 Normandy 44' modification by our respected team member, Sweeten.
