Random suggestion, but (for a future mod not based around the eastern front) what about the desert rats and the Afrika korps?

that's already done just look for it but now back on topic I'd love to see Italy have a 6 or so man squad (maybe 6 is to much? how about 4?)

I like that all (besides the last one) just make the Italians have some troops that fight rather than seduce

And like I said, even the rest is a vague suggestion at the most.

The only note-worthy Italian infantry on the eastern front I can think of right away would be the Alpini corps. Perhaps as a sort of Storm Trooper. As far as armour goes, they only had light tanks like the L6 and I just like the Toldi better

For infantry, I'd much rather see some squads from the foreigners in the Waffen-SS. Though treated as second class soldiers, they often were the most fanatic and were excellent soldiers. (They were also collaborators and traitors, but let's not get political)

Romanian force will be a great improvement for this mod,because this country has been an very  important,powerful and helpful german allied in eastern front war.One important part of the initial success of germans in eastern front is due to the romanians help.

The Romanian contribution of troops was enormous. The total number of troops involved in the Romanian Third Army and the Romanian Fourth Army was second only to Nazi Germany itself. The Romanian Army had a total of 686,258 men under arms in the summer of 1941 and a total of 1,224,691 men in arms in the summer of 1944.[3] The number of Romanian troops sent to fight in Russia exceeded that of all of Germany's other allies combined.

Hmm no the germans have already Stugs and starting to develope Jagdpanzer IV and hetzer they send enginers to Romania to help improve that Maresal Tank destroyer...

Abilities :
Italian Retreat- provides speed and armor bonuses to Retreat, no one will catch us now !
German support- replaces all your Italian units with german ones, cause we cant win on our own. -.-;

Well this would atleast be historical accurate xD. One problem with Itas was that they always needed german support to push back the allied. Take the Africa Korps, Itas held their pos but couldnt get forward, Germans arrived and were done in a few weeks. So Itallians would be like a german conscript squad with more guns.

The Italians also failed to capture Greece, which was obviously a lesser power, and then, once again the germans came and secured axis domination.
Of course i have nothing againts Italians, i'm sure they are fine people and have a legecy to be proud of, but the Italians army has nothing to offer the title "Company of HEROES".

of course,but it's historically wrong,Italian Army was present in Russia With 230.000 Soldiers,they had bad equipments but they fought with honour being useful to the Germans against first Soviet's assault...
