+1 for Medal of Honor's theme.

Also, for the one about historical accuracy, I think the theme here might be a good add-on to the MoH one.

Just so you guys know, clear vocals like that don't fit with the CoH music theme and won't be used. Also, LOL Maus. Has to be in every thread in the Ostheer suggestions doesn't it.

That was the first piece of music he did for us, I think he's done some more since.

So it's that guy. I like it.
"You can close your eyes and plug your ears and be afraid and ignorant of the darker parts of history, but always know that you're the one responsible for allowing those events to happen again and with even greater consequences and not know how to end the nightmare you did upon yourself."

I see.. so no vocal, in that case I have another theme that gave the same feeling but off-vocal which can be posted if anyone interested.

But main point is that is this the kind of feel we're looking for? I mean, I agreed that MoH can just do the job but for the supporting element that we can put in to a remix, is this kind of theme is what your people is looking for.

might sound a little too inquisitive, but just want to be informed. With all due respect.

Well EF likely won't need to take music from anywhere else since they have Icarus. Though perhaps he can use ideas and inspiration from pieces in this thread. Try listening to the Wehrmacht and PE themes to get a better understanding of the type of music in CoH.

@Blackbishop & BurroDiablo
I guess, I should've used another word, instead of "piss off", to express my feelings.
@GodlikeDennis
The thing is that, being a russian, as you have noticed correctly, I'd prefer to see a russian theme, which is based on some russian music, not some hollywood nonsense, or fun but silly disco.
Is it too much? Well, "I know, I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one..."  ;)

??? ::)
Joke is only good, when it's funny...
What is it about this "Stalin" thing? I don't give a shit about this God-forsaken georgian anyway.
Info for lazy and apathetic people:  his real name was Joseph Jugashvily, where the second part would bear the meaning similar to "Stalin", in case of literal translation to russian; "Stalin" is his pseudonym.

Well. The problem it that the music shouldnt be so popular.
Most people know the soundtrack of "Das Boot" or will recognise parts of famous marches.
Fortunately EF-Dev-team had a music composer who will make some new music for EF.
Because of this i would prefer when Ostheer get music with historical music elements or parts of historical music (e.g. "Die Wacht am Rhein [The start melody of the Wochenschau] or "Deutschlandlied" or stuff like this) and new components. All in all the music had to fit to the rest of the CoH soundtrack so we wont and cant take metal or electro elements for new music xD

That's great! Will be some music elements from the "Panzerlied" or "Unser Rommel"? (no, not you xD) I catc this topic and read some pages, it's funny when IJoe goes rampant. :) No offense.
A parttal a Neppel
Here is a communist  music called "With the party, with the nation" (I think, it's not accurate tranlation). It's musical masterpiece, but with discusting propaganda lyrics. Commies had here in my country for 60 years. But back on topic. I think that's a good thing the musical composer guy can treat old themes with new elements. Looking forward to hear it. :)

To assert that someone has "a lot in common with stalin" when you do not know anything about him is also crazy, with my respect. I wouldnt like to be compared with stalin, even with jokes. Thats also your case I guess? :P

Also, for the ostheer theme, I would suggest the MoW main theme, its kinda cool, though I dont think it would be the best choice.

 Napoleon: Total War Main Menu Theme

grim, determined, but gave some feeling of superiority. Should be a perfect supplement to Ostheer music (I even think that it sound mush like the CoH combat theme).

*I selected this music for its resourcefulness and impressive nature only, and have no intention of referring or offending any historical figure involved. If any body feel offend please accept my apology.
