@VonSchnitzel
Does it have any appeal, surpassing the sound part (has it got any special meaning, where does it ascend from)?

@VonSchnitzel

Crimson + Wings of Prey sound way too heroric imo ... Not an ideal sound for the ostheer, they should have a evil/brutal sounding theme ...

Brutal as dis!

Hans Zimmer, Do you think i'm a Saxon?

Anyway theres allready a EF soundtrack in progress.

Come across this music from a german-base tragic film "Das Boat" it should do the job fine.

It grim, struggle, and ironic. Think it very fit the theme of Ostheer (fighting for the fatherland, with slim chance of victory).

Link is here
Das Boot- Soundtrack

I am new to this board, sorry doesn't know to post a Video.

I think we shouldn't go too deep and dark because then it makes it sound like playing the Ostheer is a big mistake. Balance is needed.

It should also be worth noting that there was an Eastern Front before Stalingrad when German spirits were high. We shouldn't have all melancholy or dark feeling music.

hmm... do you means something like the star war's imperial march? Not that I suggested we use a Darth Vader's theme or anything, just want to confirm the concept.

Well. The problem it that the music shouldnt be so popular.
Most people know the soundtrack of "Das Boot" or will recognise parts of famous marches.
Fortunately EF-Dev-team had a music composer who will make some new music for EF.
Because of this i would prefer when Ostheer get music with historical music elements or parts of historical music (e.g. "Die Wacht am Rhein [The start melody of the Wochenschau] or "Deutschlandlied" or stuff like this) and new components. All in all the music had to fit to the rest of the CoH soundtrack so we wont and cant take metal or electro elements for new music xD
May the force be with you.
