KT=King Tiger

Sorry for the accronyms, they seem to be all the rage these days.

Lol, Panzer 4 or even an UpGunned Puma can defeat a unsupported ISU-152, JUST saying xD. Im just happy to use that tactic vs an allied player for once, Ive always had the un expected Stuart or Greyhound "surprise attack" do it to my unsupported Marders or StuGs

I once had an unsupported stug get killed by a single greyhound, the greyhound would fire, the Stug would turn.. the greyhound would circle around the back and fire again and it kept on doing so.

I heard using Treadbreaker, then going behind the ISU 152 with Marder III and Panther works. I heard using Treadbreaker then Henschel is excellent too. I think circling around the ISU 152 even with Panzer IV works.

I dont get it either... the ISU-152 didnt even have that good of armor(gun = 152mm, armor = 3.55in, max speed = 22.98mph) in my opinion, we should switch the isu 152 and the IS-2. The IS-2 "victory tank" was the real beast of the war. (gun = 122mm, armor = 6.30in, max speed = 22.98mph) and the IS-2 had a turret the ISU-152 did not. Both of them had good guns, and decent speed, however, the IS-2 had better armor.

There would be no IS-2 spams and T-34 would be the main battle tank, as it was.
IS-2 could then dig itself in like in 1.00 version of EF.
SU-152 wouldnt need an ambush ability. Even small SU-85 guns cant ambush.
SU-152 should then also get Churchills armor, 800-1000HP but should cost 550-600MP.

A jagdpanther didn't have better armour than a normal panther either...but in game it has the best armour of all vehicles by far.

Once again...this isn't realism....

IS2 was about as numerous as a panther in the Eastern front...if not more. It was also a Breakthrough tank....not dug in for static defense.

We're not turning the iSu into a glorified churchill/Stuh, no.
It remains the Soviets 'super tank' of sorts...or anti-super tank really

So why EF team have put it in tank hall? It should be the "super tank" of breakthrough doctrine!!  :D

Numbers of axis and allied tanks shouldnt be compared.
PzIV ~9.000      Sherman and T-34 ~40.000
Sdkfz234 ~500  M-8 ~8.000

So IS-2 should be in a brakethru doctrine tank that is as better than Tiger I but not as powerfull as the King of Tigers.
IS-2 that can dig itself sounds fun - "this isn't realism"
Everyone will be happy that breakethru gives Soviets a really usefull tank. Right now SU is too slow to fire its gun at the enemy. It think it will never be worth 1000MP.

1.20 will need ballancing (becouse of retreat) so a quick 1.21 could also reballance the SU-152 and IS-2 switch.

The comparison is drawn between the IS-2 and Panther because in terms of numbers, and abilities they were well matched. If the panther is built on map, then it makes 100% sense that the Soviets build the IS2 on map as well to match it. Its not another Tiger/Pershing copy for the soviets

IS2 and ISU roles will remain as they are. We are balancing the 1.2, we're not just chucking in the retreat and vet  ;)

ACTUALLY, since most Panthers were on the Eastern Front I think it would be safe to say that there were many, many more Panthers in Russia than there were ISU-152's.
Here are some links for the production numbers:

http://militaryhistory.about.com/od/vehiclesarmor/p/panther.htm

http://www.militaryfactory.com/armor/detail.asp?armor_id=85

AND from what I know, the ISU-152 was also very much similar to the King Tiger in regards to reliability. Yeah, it performed fantastic, IF it could reach the battle, in turn, slowly developed into a defensive tank. I like how you guys made the ISU152, and keep it that way, please, but I thoughtit was a little fishy from the statement "It was more than the Panther" ;)
