dont change this... this is what makes the Russians unique because they have to decide what they are going to spend their resources on... and if you play a 2v2 play with an american or brit and there you go you have secured resources
But that's the problem. If a faction is balanced in 1v1 WITHOUT secured resources then that faction becomes unbalanced WITH secured resources from other factions.
Giving the Russians the ability to secure resources with outposts and balancing them with this in mind would solve the issue.

I am for soviet OP
ability of flags, as a *NERF* to them. Not a buff. It would
give them something else to spend their MPs on, slow
down the game from the 'captures 20 flags in first minute'
approach, and it would remove the 'Uber because US/brit
ally gives 'em more fuel/muni than they are calibrated to
use. OF course, they'd need to be recalibrated otherwise
(1/2 of conscripts being armed with 0 dmg invisible guns
comes to mind... so they stop charging tanks and HMGs
with their bare fists... no?)
Give pistols xtra range, as well. For same reason. I hate
when a squad that has a pistol and rifles comes charging
in on it's own OUT OF COVER because pistol guy felt
rambo-ish)
Not saying I want soviets nerfed out of existance.
Saying rather that - Well, making outposts work like
OPs would work very nicely. Maybe cost 25 muni for
the upgrade
