Any plans to give USSR secured resourcing?

If you give them that - then they`R invincible, I personally like them not securing points, Soviet`s don`t need SR, they have a lot of cheep inf to compensate.

Agreed, secure resources mean they will have waay more upgrades than normal. I do not want to fight shock gaurds, strum ingenery, t-34/85s and upgraded mortar

how about try fighting an russian and a brit? Truck secures  way too much munition for the russians, they would do off map and criping .. :s god.. maybe the beta testers never thought of playing it with russians, or the resource sharing for them..

Every faction has a way to secure recources. It is an interesting mechanic which allows the player to make a strategic decision: do I try and invest some manpower right now in the hope of getting more fuel or munitions later in the game, or do I just spend my manpower on combat units. It also changes the value of a certain area of map. If I know my opponent has OP'd something, I will try to either cut off that part of the map, or try and attack it, knowing that he has 200 manpower less of combat units.

I believe that the Russian faction should also have this mechanic, like every other faction. They can implement it in a different and interesting way. I can't think of anything on teh spot, but I'm sure some creative people out there can.

It's not how they are supposed to work, being aggressive is their way of securing resources, if you can't do that, then play another faction.

Is that so. The US and PE are very aggressive factions, and they both have access to observation posts, so why can't the SU.

Because it will allow the Soviet Union quick tech up to upgrades and higher fuel income for tanks.

This will destroy balance.

Seriously dough, Soviets need no OP`s, having Brits suck fuel and mun. in 2v2 is bad enough for Axis, this would finish them off...wait a...come again, why are`nt we doing this?

Then perhaps some of their units need to be toned down a bit? When you start ditching fundamental game mechanics because they don't work with your faction, perhaps you need to take a closer look at your faction, rather than saying that this proven mechanic no longer works.

Or you can think of it differently. Its not about ditching game mechanics to balance the soviets. Its about making the faction unique to all the others. The way people like you talk, you want soviets to be a skin/voice pack with some modified stats of a current faction.

No, if USSR secure points they will be too powerful being able to get new techs faster than its opponents.

The fact that Soviets have a shit logistic make the faction of USSR balanced. Remember that.
