Some historically accuracies make the game fun.
If you were playing with Rangers in a WW2 game that used the Musket would it be as fun as the M1 Garand or Thomson?
If you saw the Elite Tank for Terror Doctrine was a tissue paper box with a toilet paper roll taped to the top and not a King Tiger
if you saw Cute Little Bunny Rabbit instead of IS-2
if you saw ELITE GERMAN SOLDIER MAN instead of Waffen SS?
The game isant a history lesson, no, but its based off of history. The fact that you cant look back at the SS and realize they ARE in fact history is childish and moronic.
the SS existed (a fact that you seem to need to come to terms with?), they took part on the eastern front, and i have absolutely no problem with them being in a video game.

So why not put them into one Ostheer doctrin but name them something like "Elite Grenadiers"?
