[Solved] cannot locate file: EF_version.ini

hello
my first error message shows up when i open the launcher here its missing EFL_Lanyuages.ini i click ok to procced with default english.

secondly when i want to check for updates its missing EF_version.ini when i click ok to that it stops working

finaly if i click play EF nothing happens at all

i hope someone can help me

Try to reinstall, seems like you are missing a lot of files...

i downloaded it about 10 times and reinstalled it just as many times but i always get the same errors. i can play coh normaly tho and i would like not to reinstall coh all over again

i have exactely the same problem. if i download the EF-updater it contains just 3 files:EF_api.dll, EF_api.shell.dll and ef_launcher.exe no ef_language.ini and no ef_version.ini. i use the CoH-OF as stand-alone.

how can i get those files?

EF_language.ini is not important, only if you want other then english launcher.

For EF_Version.ini make a new file called "EF_Version.ini" and paste this into it

Hi guys

Is it possible you've downloaded the updated launcher (2.4) rather than the complete mod?

The file you need to install is EF_Setup.exe

From the description of your problem you may have downloaded and installed the launcher patch without the mod.  On the home screen scroll down just past the box art for these links.

i though the launcher should download the mod.
anyway i found the mod download on the same site installed and now it works as it should
