Automatch?

How come automatch doesn't work with EF?  Been trying for 2 days and nothing, says 0 allies, 0 axis, 1 or 2 random and I've only gotten as far as 2 green bars, but mostly it's just 1 green bar.

Also, I was told you can't rank up with EF?

Now after talking to several people on the COH forums in the game, I can say that without these options, EF will die very soon and a lot of people said they'll be uninstalling it within the next few days if a patch doesn't fix these problems, along with the freezing and crashing.

I've played it 2 or 3 times and really enjoyed it, so it would be a shame to have to uninstall it after you guys have put so much effort into this mod.

If it's a matter of money, I'd much rather pay to have these options than not for FREE.

Why would people unintall it when you can just not use the Soviets? Thats the whole point of it, its like someone uninstalling OF because they dont like the British 

No you cant rank up, and I dont think you can automatch with EF, but thats on Relics part not the team.

Meh, if people uninstall it because of something that trivial, its their loss I guess, just give it soem time, it was never going to be perfect on first release, but its pretty damn good already

It's an additional 600+MB on my hard drive and it has froze my PC at least 3 times in just the handful of times I have played.

No need to have it installed if all I play is automatch and if I'm not going to play as the Russians, what's the point in having it hog my system?

It took 4 hours to d/l this and if I had known you couldn't use automatch or get ranked for playing, I never would've wasted my time and sadly, this is how a lot of people feel about EF right now, at least from what they have told me on the COH chat rooms.

Aye, well its never crashed for me so its all down to personal experience I guess.

Suppose it depends what you value more, new faction or automatch.

There are some people who already played it on automatch, see the bug thread. So its entirely possible. Not having ranks for the soviets is no real problem. If you're so annyed abotu that then why don't you simply start a custom league in which you can play, like esl?

I saw that earlier, but if I'm not mistaken it was was Russia vs Brits in some weird random alignment and all words were foreign so that leads me to believe it was beta?

No idea, but that's the only person I've seen able to play automatch.

Why can't they get Relic's approval to rank up? 

Oh well, I was just under the impression this was another expansion like OF.  I've played COH every day since it came out, I love it that much, but if OF is the last "official" game COH makes, I guess I'll lose interest eventually.

I'm already getting tired of playing as the Brits, already played several 1000 games.

This will be my last post on this subject.  I just tried automatch with other factions and it won't work, so basically EF is only good if you want to play the AI and if you want to rank automatch, you'll need to launch OF.

I'm OK with that, but it's a BIG LET DOWN!  I was under the assumption I could switch from Brits to Russians without skipping a beat, but you can't.  Heck, I was really looking forward to what all the rank ensignia looked like for the Russians.
