After playing a skirmish I can say:

BAD POINTS:

The T-90 and T-70 wheeltracks is too colored, I think more "gamma" will be better than.

Dirty metal in the skins of the tanks are nice but, a little exagerated, pherhaps doing it more clean would be better. Anyway it is my personal opinion.

Also the medical truck is too colored. in general, I can really say a more dark skin for the tanks will be very better than the actual. Its all too bright, dim it!

Where the fuck are the player's colors in the units? It not just serve to identify your tanks but also makes things better looking.

Also, i think more relief in tank models would be very welcome, not just a paint in the skin, doors, hatchs, screws etc would be real reliefs in the tank surface, not just a paint.
In that point, the IS tank is ok, the other ones have poor details.

Infantary sounds is strange...

There is no building sounds when you click it.

Engeniers's gloves skins are bugged.

Cannon tank's sizes dont changes after upgrades.

Infantary cannot catch empty enemy AT guns? Why?

GOOD POINTS:

New wrecks are awesome!

Russian tanks looks exactly like they sould to do. Rustical

Everything more looks perfect. Buildings skins are beautiful and rustical.

Abilities and upgrades are perfect!

Congratulations. My vote is 9 (In a scale of 0 to 10). Small changings can make it 10 (perfect)

As im not a skirmish/online/arcade player, I will wait the campaign... please do a lot of single player missions in that campaign! 20 or more please... ::) dont count us single players out!

Most research at The Armoury only takes effect on future units built, not units currently in the field.

We decided to take out the capturing heavy weapons for a number of reasons. This is compensated by large weapon crew sizes.

Its all almost perfect... im just quoting some things you can change for better. And I think all things are simple to do.

Thanks from Brazil.

I like the game so far. But still it hasn't gotten me like the first CoH's did.. Dont get me wrong I enjoy playing it  :) But still I would've hoped that for example; Stalingrad I would have prefered it more if it had narrow streets and a big square with the volga river on the background. Instead of a trainyard an only 3 fuel points

Hi,

The make of the map as i had seen is of good quality .

Now i remember reading some where that the banks of the river were very steep and that the Arty (Kathyusa) were hidden there .....Thus realistically if a map was made to that discp it would have Bottleneck points and the gameplay would'nt have been free ...Its just how i see it ..

It's tough again :)

I lost once, so I had to play on the Scheldt and take the choke points and mortar the hell out of them, but I finally got them. Almost won as PE, but my game crashed as I was destroying one base.

I have to say, though, the heavy mortars are quite annoying. I thought at first it was just random artillery because I didn't read the manual, and I wanted to find things out myself. :D

Good game, obvisoouly these guys have pointed out some good bugs, also i found if you click on a t34 wreckage ownded by the world player, as part of the map, its pink once clicked on, wierd...

Katusha rockets models need animation maybe to move the platform of tubes up before firing, to align with where the rockets come from, if thats possible, they just sort of fly out at different angle, which i know u cant change. just needs a model change maybe.

Also some colours and sounds in bases yes.

And osteer!!!! ofc, that will be cool, hopefully with that update maybe a few new russian units, if you could. just to keep us excited.

Then campagin maybe :P lol or is that asking to much

and dont forget to send to relic, they would probs all end up playing it and realisesing that they should give you guys jobs, and then the next coh will be great, the only good part about TOV was the mini campagins and the awesome cut scenes and art work it had, the actuall gameplay changes where rubbish, you guys have changed everything :P

Also could you make it so the player can zoom out a load more, it works really well in the blitzkrieg mod, talk to their devs, they are very freindly apparently :P

Thanks

:D

Hi all!
I'm new to the thread and I have a problem with my game
I downloaded the mod from Moddb and installed it with the latest patch.  So I tried to double click the EF Launcher icon to start up the game but nothing happens. I just get a new window for EF with News Features and Languages on the top. I do see evidence of a bar on the bottom that should indicate that it loads but nothing happens and the EF window just stays there. Can anyone tell me whats wrong?
Thanks

Mike

Sniper could use a bit of a buff, considering it costs 750 and is the last point in the tree, It should probably be a bit more accurate (I missed a few shots which is uncalled for :( )

The good: The infantry is amazing, very balanced and I love the no retreat option.

Guards could user a bit of a buff for being the best tier inf.

The new maps are really nice

Love the new wrecks, and the tank models I think look really sharp (but could use a bit more detail).

The Tree's and ability's have been working out real well, great work considering it's the hardest to balance.

The Bad:

The tanks just seem very underpowered, Migth just be me, but I have noticed the inaccuracy to be a bit much.

The firestorm base could use a bit of an accuracy buff, I also noticed if u face it about 10 feet from the target, it will hit it every time if you align it properly.

Other then that, no really complaints, very well done

I am enjoying the mod. To be honest, it doesn´t impress me too much (you can see it is an early build), but it definitely can lead to better things.

The tanks, are stated earlier, are a bit rough.

The Strelky and the Guards don´t look different enough, they could do with some more detail (Guards with stolen panzerfausts on their backs, for example, the Red Army used tons of those things in Germany, even to open holes in walls to advance into the heart of Berlin).

The early start doesn´t seem too fair for the Russian player. But of course, I haven´t played conscript-spam, nor played against anyone trying that with a command squad in tow, so maybe it´s that. Conscript spam might be the only viable tactic at the start.

Also, the voices sound suspiciously to me like you took the Russian dubbing for CoH and put it in. That would explain why the T-34 says "Sherman" and the T-70 "Greyhound". I would like to encourage you to get voice actors with quality mics for the different languages CoH was sold with, but I realize that would be a long-term thing, if at all.

All in all, not too impressed, but I see the love put into it and I think that just a little more would really make it shine more.

Oh! And PLEASE, tell me where you got the main menu themes. One I recognize from Enemy at the Gates, I think, but one of the sung ones sounds awesome.
