Ryousan : I hate Axis IS2
for same reason I hate ally KoenigTiger.

Luz777 : I'm all for new models as well,
but, cmon, propensity of T34 is such that
it ought to be all over the place. Discussion
that Finns lacked decent tanks? Finn T34!
2 birds 1 stone AND gets Finns in OstHeer !
 I'm a genius! :D
 - Oh, I want Finn StuG + BT42 too :)
 (Would hopefully mean a BT7 somewhere?) :)
: Oh, OF COURSE!! :) Sure thing. Make it
worn, older, scruffier. Make it missing
side skirts. I'm all for that :)

Seeing as it was repaired BATTLE-CAPTURED
Soviet Tank, I doubt it would look, say, brand new?
I never asked for them to be pretty. Dirty tanks.
 Luv 'em.

SilverWolf :
No, Soviet variant of T34 flakpanzer is more RARE.
It's as I said, I'm against captured ally King Tiger.
It's got to be the most common version. How can have
variants when can't access core unit?
Like USA without Sherman75/76. But only Crocs.
 - Also - As I don't expect there be a dozen captured
soviet units, I would rather those be Finnish, see? :)

Venoxxis : PE and Wehr are already 100% German.
Finns fought on East Front. Unless there is a pure
Finnish faction coming up, OstHeer is the *ONLY* chance
EVER of Finns making it into COH. a 3rd 'pure' german
faction would make way to a 4th pure german, 5th pure
german faction... sigh. No finns, ever :p

I'm okay with them being reward units, kinda.
But they GOT to be there :) Just gotta :)

Voop_Bakon : ... a captured OstHeer unit?
You mean a captured soviet unit :)

Flippis : Finns in COH as doctrine call-in units
for the OstHeer. Mad? In Deep russia? I'm as mad
as British/USA fighting WITH Russia in Russia and
Russian units fighting on french maps ;)

 Give it a rest :)

I don'T mind cosmetical modifications done to them
Flag, dirty/damaged, battleworn, whatever. I'd prefer
they be vanilla, though. T34/76 were used too.
I'd like a call-in with one of each, perhaps? :)
You know, there are many people in the country today who, through no fault of their own, are sane. Some of them were born sane. Some of them became sane later in their lives. It is up to people like you and me who are out of our tiny little minds to try and help these people overcome their sanity

Kinda gives wrong impression if you ask me. Calling in FINNISH TANKS, makes it sound like as if there were loads of finnish tanks that were the best on whatever battlefield they fought on. Even if they are call-in. It still sounds a bit mighty.

"Oh no ze finnz are hier!"  ;D

Finns also bought captured t-34's from germany, which had german commander cupolas installed.

Finns didnt have flags on their vehicles, since the finnish swastika was enough to identify friends from foes. Besides, like 90% of times the tank that came by was an enemy.  :P

There was only one Bergetiger ever found (albeit various people suggest that more were produced or few were field modified tigers), and it's purpose in the game is most likely not even correct (the most "trustful" suggestion when looking at the winch is that it was for demolitions), yet, you can mass produce them and recover tanks with them, logic isn't one of the best things in Company of Heroes. :P

Flippis : Tiger is called 'Tiger' in-game. Not 'DER MIGHTY
UBERTIGER' lol. I call 'em Finnish Tanks right now, because
people don't know about  T-34 Sotka (after the Common
Goldeneye, a sea duck, because the side silhouette of the
tank resembles a swimming waterfowl (as related in the
memoirs of Finnish tank ace Lauri Heino). The T-34-85 was
 called pitkäputkinen Sotka, 'long-barreled Sotka').

Ok, now, explain to me... how is T34/76+T34/85 OP?
No-limit Captured IS2, fines. Limited T34's? No way.

SilverWolf : Well, I've seen pics of T34 Bergers and
 Panther, Panzer4 Bergers too :)

Winch? Demolition? What do you mean?

Well, you can't have more than 1 out at a time :)
 - It's a game :)
 - Yea, last call is Dev's choice. I can dream, though, right?

Im not to argue, just stating my opinion. I dont think finns in general, not as call-in or as doctrine arent needed unless theres a complete finnish army made, but thats another story then. I just dont think they fit into the mod. Its a nice and lovely idea but quite unnecessary in my eyes.

Finns would be cool if they were their own army tho. But how to balance them would be a different thing. :)

I'd rather have an OStHeer with plenty of other country
 call-ins than yet a THIRD pure-german faction :p

 Then a 4th, a 5th, a 20th...

All while there is only 1 US faction, etc ;)
All having their Pz4, and grenadiers, MG42's... ;)

 ... And let's not forget... their AT88... ;)
