A t-35
« on: November 27, 2009, 04:32:04 AM »
I was googling coh eastern front and I saw a model made by Burrodiablo of a t-35. I saw it and though he did a rather good job and thought it would be a waste not to include it some how

here is the picture: http://www.easternfront.org/uploads/Kamikaza22/T-35.jpg

Maybe as a add on or something like that

Holy shit, nice model. Really well done, Burrodiablo!!.
Well, *PLEASE* add it in as a reward unit, or something.
Unlockable by doing the campaign, perhaps? :)

Too much of an odd duck to add in the 'vanilla' EF, but, god,
it HAS to be in, somewhere :) Add it's kid brother, too, please,
 the T26 :D

 T26 and T35?
Well, the problem is they were not in production in WW2
anymore. Same for BT, methinks. Those were around during
the barbarossa invasion, though. And in numbers. Needed if
the nice DEVs will make a campaign :) No rush, though. Just
tag 'em on as reward units :)

Just make them weaker? Than regular units, so no one
in his right mind uses them in a classic match, though.
But for campaign, or for fun, they'd be just right.

They were no very successful in combat, not very coordinated. Between 1933 and 1939 only 61 were produced and they all serve in one tank brigade. In 1941 when the war started for the Russians only a few saw action, the rest being stationed at Moscow for local defense. Even with them being in Moscow there is no record of any going into action around Moscow. The ones that did go to action in Russian did not fair well, they were too lightly armed and their weight made them easy pray for the German Panzers.

Thats a high poly model and is riddled with problems (made at a time when I couldn't grasp the idea of low poly modelling). If we were to add it (which we most likely won't) we would have to start it from scratch.

 - Bastex : I have no idea what you are trying to say.
Something along the lines that what I am asking for is
pretty much exactly what you wanted in the first place?
If so, noo problem :) Only good.
Otherwise, I didn't get what you meant, then :p
 - BurroDiablo : Your high poly model looks very good, though.
I like it a lot. I like the idea of putting it in the game as the
 T26's Tiger-wannabe-brother
 (Panther-King Tiger)(Panzer4-Tiger)(T26-T35).
But T26 should come first :)
