i have an idea about conscripts, in the game lord of the rings rohan have "pesants" or "farmers" as regular infantery but with a field skill ability u can arm them with sword, sheild, armor and helmet. and in the came CCG u can usa an uppgrade to weild the angry mobs with ak-47 and molovtov costails. i belive if the conscripts were regular workers they culd be their enginer unit also and with a little uppgrade they are their standard fighting unit, cases of this can also be found in WC3 with the human pesants.
