[2.300] Game crashes/freezes - Post here

I've played this great mod about 50 games now. My only problem is that the game crashes about 60% of all games.

It's close to unenjoyable because of all of the crashes. Usually the game crashes at the same time for both me and my partner in the multiplayer game.


Answers to questions:

*What map were you playing?
This time, Rails and Metal (4)

*Which factions were involved?
Britain, Sovjet, Osheer, Wermacht.

*What were you doing when the crash occurred?
I was building on an oil resource. Co-player Attacked with infantery.

*Do the crashes happen during every or almost every game?
Happens approx 60% of all games.

*What game mode were you playing?
Annihilation.

EF version 2.3.0.0
COH 2.700.2.42
Windows 10 64 bit

The logs seems to be fine, could you look if there is something in the ai log with the same timestamp than the scar log you uploaded?

Would do that if I could find any.

The only type of logs available at "C:\Users\Enps\Documents\my games\Company of Heroes Relaunch\LogFiles" is:

I have crash logs for 1 or 2 other crashes ready to send. But no ailog there either .

hello everyone.

My friends and I have troubles with British Faction when played (played by computer or us, any map, any rules).

No Bug Splats when British faction is out of the battle. So after many tests, we are quite sure it comes from English Camp.

We are playing of course with all the latest Patchs, Gamers Computers, Windows 10, all patchs done for any material or software), and Under steam New version.

No crash with british when played whitout Eastern Front.

We use Skype for voice control.

Here are the différents reports, and we do not find what is the reason of thèses damned bug splats.

Thanks for taking the time to post about your problem. I have checked the log files that could have some information about a problem but they are clean.

I'm not sure what would be the problem though, because I haven't heard about crashes in the Beta when they play Brits.

I will have a look on others bug reports. Do you think Windows 10 could be the murderer ?

I'm not sure to be honest. But do you recall if the crash comes always at the same time or it is completely random? Is there something that always happens before the crash that can help to identify the problem?

Always random. Did it yesterday again with british against vermart. The 3 of us were back to desktop with bugsplat.

Im using New Steam Version, BK and EF mod installed at same time. Game crashes instantly after creating a lobby or joining chat (after installing EF and verify game cache 128 files got redownloaded, with BK this doesnt happened ?! I thought that EF an BK doesnt replace any files ?)

Eastern Front obviously don't modify anything from CoH, you can even download EF to a different path and you will see which files are installed. If files are redownloaded it would be because a different reason :-/.

And about the logs, these files don't show anything about a crash, in the first topic of this thread says what files you need to submit. However that crash likely happened because CoH files were corrupted, hence Steam downloaded a bunch of them again, so probably it would work fine now.

Was playing a saved game of Stalingrad. Sovs versus all 3 German factions (2 Ostheer + 1 each of the other 2). I rerouted some Sov engineers from picking up an abandoned Sov mortar (my faction, crew killed) to instead fixing a crewed Sov AT gun (my faction). There was a PzWIII bearing down on the engineers.

The game crashed, and an error report was generated.

Since then, I have not been able to launch any new skirmish game, only reload saved games.

Am attaching the following:

I can't be sure the exact time of the crash (sorry!), so I'm attaching all the warnings from around then.
