2) You need to get the file warnings.log, not the one you got here that goes something like warnings.[Date-and-Time].txt, which is found in "Documents/My Games/Company of Heroes Relaunch/".

Just out of curiosity, did you install the compatibility patch to 2.602 from moddb?

Btw, don't do it, in case you are wondering by my question if was something you should do.

Also, are you sure you are running the version 2.300 of EF with the CoH version 2.700.2.42 in Steam? You can read the CoH version in the main menu screen at the bottom-center.

I didn't download the compatibility patch, just the full file from moddb.

Certainly everything looks fine, it is weird you have such crash.

The only odd thing in the log is this one:

RUN-OPTIONS -dev -mod Eastern_Front -notriplebuffer C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Company of Heroes Relaunch\RelicCoH.exe -dev -mod Eastern_Front

Because the highlighted part shouldn't be there, but I'm don't think it is causing the problem.

By the way, how do you run the mod? Through the launcher or a self-made shorcut?

I run it through the launcher.

Funny thing is, it used to check for updates all the time and after checking, it says something along the lines of the game being up to date and I'd be able to get into an Annihilate match with a couple of friends. Now, it tells me I can't connect to the EF server, and it turns auto update off. Can't even play a proper skirmish match, let alone MP.

I suggest you create a shorcut for EF, so you don't have to bother using the launcher. We will no longer use it once we finish the Steam version.

Also, from the file I sent, I noticed numeroous lines of "FILESYSTEM -- filepath failure, path does not exist". Are they in any way at all important?

No, don't worry about them.

If your problem persists,the only thing I can suggest is to uninstall EF, make sure all the files (specially FactionFix.dll) are gone and then install EF again.

Game constantly crashes to desktop a few minutes into the game.

From my warnings log file:
GAME -- SquadFactory failed to create squad due to invalid parameters
-- FATAL EXIT --

//edit Tried the game again. I have attached the new log. This one does not have a fatal exit line anywhere.

Hello @cheese_cake, thanks for the heads up.

That's an interesting error. If it happens again, make sure you upload the scarlog.#####.txt file as well (the one who has the timestamp of the crash). It should contain a bit more information than the warnings.log.

I've attached the scarlog that corresponds to both events. The 11-01-05 scarlog goes with the squadfactory fatal exit. The other scarlog goes with the warnings.log file I attached in my previous post.

Unfortunately the new log you attached is "clean" and the scarlogs doesn't have a lot to show either .

Does the ailog.###.txt of the fatal exit shows something? It usually doesn't have useful information, but since we haven't gotten something yet perhaps it would have something .

If you get the error later, make sure to upload these three files related to the error here.

I keep seeing this line in all my logs:
09:29:45.25   Warning: binding repeat_4(Ability: abilities\reenable_capture_ability_engineers) -- ui index '0' out of bounds; range is [1, 12]

Similar lines popped up only towards the end of the log. Could this be the issue?

Also it seems my computer is unable to index any file called ailog. I do have a bunch of AI_LogFile_####.txt files. They're all blank.

That warning line is nothing to worry about (which means it doesn't cause anything bad) and as I suspected, the ai log seems to not have something useful.

Also, the ai log files in my PC appears like this: ailog.2016-09-04.10-25-46.txt.
