American Flag patch on my biking jersey, is it legal?
« on: October 21, 2013, 05:11:34 AM »
Hey guys i'm aware that this is pretty off topic but i want to know if it is legal to sew an American flag patch with the stars facing front on the right shoulder of my biking jersey(note it is not a team jersey, that't just what they are called it is just red and white). I know this is normally done by Military personal, and if it means anything i am joining the air force when i get out of high school( i'm a senior right now). Also i would like to know if i can put an Air Force patch and a normal american flag patch on the back of my camelbak hydration pack. Well i say if i can, of course i can but is it against the law. But maybe it isn't because people can spit  on, walk on and burn the flag and it is protected by the first amendment. Well you guys are smarter than me so it would be great if you could help me out. Also i am aware this is not an american based project or at least that there are a lot of people on EF that are for other countries, but maybe you still know.

Thanks!

Disgracing the flag does not relate to patches i'm pretty sure (otherwise i have broken the law too) I'm sure its fine i used to wear a BDU around all the time with flags and what have you, never got flak for it.
