T-34's are useless

Just like the topic says, T-34's are useless for the amount of fuel you spend to get them. They are not good AT until the 85mm gun and by then it's just cost effective to get more infantry AT and SU-76's.
 
Maybe lower the cost of the Heavy Tankovy program to like 90 Fuel and have T-34's at like 60 Fuel. After that give a buff for damage against infantry and turn it into basically an Infantry Support Tank. This would be nice because the only other Anti-Infantry vehicle for Soviets is the T-90.

T-34/76 is very effective but u need a lot of micro and support.
U can deal a lot of demage when u mirco the tank against your enemy.
Dont use it in stupid front attacks. Moving and circling is the key element for this tank.

At the moment t-34 are cheap, spammable and already very useful against infantry units. Just make sure you don't shoot while driving, because t-34 moving accuracy is crap.

They simply "rape" any infantry, gets vet easily, so keep them alive, when they have some vet- upgrade to85mm- now you have brand new vetted AT Tanks )

Sorry this is my first forum post.

I agree that the T-34 needs to be well-microed to be effective but I can't for the life of me figure out how they are spammable. Between the Tank Hall, Heavy Tankovy Support, and 1st T-34 thats approx. 250 Fuel. Now I've been playing standard resources so maybe that's it, but considering how Light Tanks do the same job only you get them cheaper, the T-34 is not needed. What you're paying in  a T-34 is speed and firepower in one package but the premium for that is so high that IMO its not needed.

If I'm wrong then sorry but playing my games this is what I've notice.

PS: Has the IS-2 been fixed yet. I didn't want to start up a whole new thread for one simple question.

That depends of what problem are you talking about to begin with . I don't think there is a problem with the IS-2.

I thought there was like a problem with the armor being bugged where it was super easy to penetrate and damage. I only heard from a guy I was playing with so probably that isn't the case.

It isn't. The frontal armour is very tough, and only Panthers or Tigers can win against IS 2 in 1on1 fights.  I checked the penetration values and the IS 2 is the best armoured allied tank next to the pershing/ISU 152.

You do know that code-wise, the T-34 is pretty much the equivalent of an upgunned Sherman, right? With the 85mm upgrade, it becomes even better.

Yes, it's comparable, only difference is that its basic penetration against StuG III/IV is lower than 76mm Shermans.

Play COH:2 and get a T34. Then come back here and see if you think its useless
