I'm sorry but, why? Why are you feeding the Comp stompers? It's feeding the people who want to do a no pop-cap annihilate games. They don't help balance. They don't help determine whether things are good. Their balance feedback is useless to us. "Hurr Durr. My T70 spam strat didn't work. The games imbalanced." Well I couldn't understand how that T70 spam strat that you tried to use against another person, COULDN'T have worked :/. It's ridiculous how much shit was overperforming and over powered, due to us not balancing it well, but the community never speaking the hell up. But you know why? Cause half of it is comp stompers. They're going to kill the mod. And this post is a fucking blemish on the face of the forum related to maps. >: (

Because it's fun? This is a game after all, and not everybody needs to play it against other people competitively in order to enjoy it. You can play it as strategically or as stupidly as you want, and not be judged. Hell, you might even get a chance to relax every once in a while without feeling pressured by competition.
And you say that half of the people playing this mod are comp stompers, and that they're killing it? If you denied them from playing this, you lose half of the user base, and gain nothing. Hating comp stompers won't increase the amount of competitive PvP players.

So try to show a little respect and diversity, and keep the hate to yourself.

Here is some feedback i have noticed after some playing :)

The building area that you can build buildings on are kinda small so you have to build your infantry & tank buildings so close to each other.
And some AI's cant build anything else then just 1 infantry building. Otherwise everything has been awesome atm :)
Another thing, after been playing for 15 minutes. You should add a non destructible bridge instead of the destructible bridge atm :) Just my thought :) Or another thing you could do with destruable bridiges is to add 2 of them next to each other, so if the second bridge gets the destroyed the fighting can continue on the first  bridge :) That would be sweet as well :)

Exactly. This mod wouldn't have survived as long as it has without the so called comp stompers - thus I don't see a problem in SSonne creating eight player bridge maps of a map that might be included into the mod soon. It's a personal favour he does saprize which is to be honoured rather than flamed to death.
I'm sorry Juhwann, but your post clearly states that you interprete comp stompers as the personified death for EF - statements like these make players give up on playing Eastern Front (adding to the image that we'd only support competitive players) and make our fan base shrink which is, if I get you right, the opposite of what you want in reality.
In the end, everybody is free to play the game as he/she likes, it's a matter of personal freedom you can't deny people.

come and get into mapping and then you can modify your/my map as you like it :)
I wont fix anything in the near future and youve got to live with the reality (and destructable bridges)  ;)

Finding a map like this so that the bridgehead will have quite a lot of fun. Some things to mention (same to the Pomern map):

1. The AI are very passive for the first 15 minutes I think. Then a horde of infantry comes >.< (against Soviets - Propoganda Strategy and other factions, they send a group, 3-4 squads at the same of basic infantry units 'duh).
2. Germans and some factions, like US might have trouble on building because it is quite small for the command area and German buildings need a lot of space, specially for PE and Ostheer.
3. Adding from the latest play in this 8p map, I think that for half map control (only 32 muni and 36 fuel is too little for a 8 player map) should be increased in terms of resources.

It is great as there are 2 hidden routes on the edge of the map though. Hope there is a point or two for high muni points :>

Not all people are good at PvP and can access to internet all the time, so a practice map like this is quite useful. I don't think there is an issue for playing compstoppers map as I am OK with both PvP and PvE maps, at least for leisure. I don't think the spamming strategy is an issue for balance here...
