Ostheer: why switch pools
« on: July 06, 2013, 11:29:47 PM »
I like to think I know alot about why balance descisions are made but I don't get why the Ostheer need their units split up into two different pools that take time and munitions to switch after the first choice. Can somebody explain why this is necessary?

I'm going with: uniqueness(sp?) of the faction.

Cheers

No clue mate, I think it could also work if they made both one time buys, like researches for a higher cost, but I haven't played enough to know.

So, I'll go with uniqueness.

You have to decide: You cant bring defense power without losing some offensive power.
You cant bring heavy anti tank without losing heavy anti infantry power.
May the force be with you.

It's done to break up your teching choices and introduce an element of a gamble. Good job on the faction, wish fucking relic would purchase your mod and release it as an official expansion pack.
