[2.101] Game crashes/freezes - Post here

well that didn't work  . I set the shaders to low and played a game and it seems as soon as my units have line of sight with the enemy it throws me out of the game .... Not sure what else it could be but i took care to actually check this time since i read it happened to some other guy in the forum ...... So what now ??

And also i play regular COH with the same settings as i did EF and it NEVER crashes ... Which leads me to wonder why it only happens with EF .....

Of course it will only happen while playing EF. CoH doesn't require as much resources as EF. Both are not even comparable resource-wise.

And one more thing, I hope you didn't install the compatibility patch for 2.602, because as explained in the download page, it only works for 2.602. If that was the case, you need to reinstall the last patch.

I must have misunderstood then because i did install the compatibility patch .... So what do i do from here ??
Could you help me out with a link to the appropriate patch ??

Follow these steps:
1) Go to your CoH relaunch folder. Where you have the latest CoH version that it is what you are running.
2) Go then to EF_Updates folder. Where all the updates are stored if you get them through the launcher.
3) Run EF_Setup(2.2.2.0).exe. If you find the file the instructions end here(go to step five), otherwise go to step four.
4) Download and run EF_Setup(2.2.2.0).exe from this page.
5) Have fun playing EF.

Well theres the good news .... and then theres the bad news ...... All is now working BUT with the osheer artillary (placeable) and also ostheer paratroops (dont know their propper name) It shows a blue square instead of the unit and on it is written missing MRD or something .....

Now what do I do ??

Uninstall, remove the files and folders left and reinstall the mod. That means these files weren't copied in the mod folder, because as far as I know, they weren't changed lately.

EF 2.2.2.0

Don't have a crashes while playing clean Coh or Blitzkrieg mod.
EF crashes right after taking any point on the map. Already have tried to reinstal mod - but it hasn't helped at all.
Don't know what to do.

Try EF with the New Steam Version,  i think EF is not supported with 2.602

Playing on Angoville, Ostheer vs. British (Easy computer)
A Lancer squad saw enemy troops. Sturmpioneer was building
The crashes happen during every game (except one time ago)
Game mode: Annihilate, location random, resources standart
I reduced the graphics to minimum, but in normal CoH in full graphics
CoH (New Steam version): V. 2.700.2.30 EF: 2.2.2.0 (but in the main screen on the game says 2.2.1.0, even with the last patch manually installed). Same problem with "The Great War 1918" mod.

I downloaded EF finally yesterday (play the new steam version)
and every game around the time when enemy 1st shows I get disconnected
I tryed to follow these steps but the only update I found was     EF_Setup(2.1.0.2)      ,
I do the download update when I start playing EF but can't find 2.2.2.0  file
where can I download 2.2.2.0?
please help
