Russian Buildings

hi, new to the forums and wondering why the Russian buildings are basically re-skinned American ones ? Are they hardcoded by relic or something ?   

Because I would of thought you would get new buildings for the Russians, seeing as this mod is coming from such an amazing development team.
Wojtek was a brown bear adopted by the 22nd Artillery Supply Company of the Polish II Corps, durring the Battle for Monte Cassino he carried Ammunition crates to the Field Guns, never dropping a single one.

Next time you play Company of Heroes, build a base structure and watch it get constructed. Then build a unit from it. And then let it get destroyed.

You will see how complex these animations are, and since we don't have the time to create such anims for every single one of our new buildings, we don't want to release sub-par buildings. So we are using Relic's structures.

This is pretty much a ridiculous request:  they need to be more worried about the models that you will see more often, like the vehicles and infantry (which are spectacular, btw).  Also, gameplay-wise, it makes no difference.  There is also enough of a change in the soviet markings on the buildings to make them unique enough.

Buildings will likely be the last thing the Russians receive.

well I asked the main person in a personal message and he said you would be making several updates through out the life of the mod.
This is a good idea for many reasons
A: when people clcik on mods on moddb they will constantly see your mod (its what we did on the mod that m yfriends and I made)
B: it gives your players the option to comment on what they like or dislike about your mod
