We figured out the TEMP Folder Full Error.

Please include the following files:

*Documents/My Games/Company of Heroes/warnings.log
*Documents/My Games/Company of Heroes/LogFiles/scarlog.[Date-and-Time].txt
*Temp/RandomLettersAndNumbers.dmp (see below)

How to get the DUMP file

• Hold Windows Key and click R
• Enter "%Temp%" (without " " and with % %)
• Find the .dmp file that was created at the time of the crash

Additional Information
Please provide the following information as well.

*What map were you playing?
*Which factions were involved?
*What were you doing when the crash occurred? Try to be as accurate as possible!
*Do the crashes happen during every or almost every game?
*What game mode were you playing?


Doing this helps us figure out the cause of the crashes easier, and fix them. Posts without any relevant information will be deleted.

As we have released a couple of patches since 1.710, I think we should start a new thread.

One last thing I'd like to add as note: IF YOU ARE PLAYING THE NO-POP CAP MODE AND YOUR GAME CRASHES, YOU SHOULD NOT BE LOOKING FOR TECH SUPPORT FROM US, BECAUSE WE DO NOT GIVE SUPPORT FOR THAT VARIANT OF THE GAME.

That game-type was included due to popular demand, and since CoH Essence engine cannot support the stress of handling too many objects regardless if you use vanilla factions or not, specially if you are fighting against AI(regardless of faction) we can't do anything about it.

I installed EF with no issues. I am able to get in and play anything when by myself. My issue is that when my buddy joins via online and we play against computer AI the game will not go past the first second once the game is finished loading. It gives us a sync error and closes the match. I know this was an issue and the 1.7.2.1 patch came out it fixed a lot of these but I guess not all. We even looked at the AI files and SCAR files under the EF folder and they are identical size and file count. Let me know if yall need anything from me or my buddy to help get this fixed. I miss this mod and really want to be able to play it again.

If you have sync issues,one of the players doesn't have the correct version, there is no other way to have such error... unless you use cheatmod in multiplayer. I suggest to uninstall EF, make sure EF directory is deleted from CoH folder and reinstall EF. Always make sure to install the updates in the correct path if you use Steam, otherwise they might go on the wrong folder.

First of all , sorry for my bad english and i am new in this forum. Secondly , i started playing EF mod since the version which have Sherman tank in soviet faction. Third, for this game, i am a offline player (also i am using cracked game, do i allowed to complain here if my game is a illegal one?) since i only able to online 2 hours per day using my computer (i am using a small laptop now), so i always play with AI.

So here is the thing, i don't know why everytime i play COH with heavy mod (such as blitz , BotB , Eastern Front, [sometimes] Modern Combat) on full screen , after about 20 - 40 minutes of playing, the game suddently frozen , can't hear any sound (but sometime i still able to move my house around but not able to click/select on anything) and i wasn't able to open task manager to end task it so result is i have to restart the pc. My setting for the game are all to max (except the detail thingy on ultra option, it crash my game , when i read the warning log, it said i cannot handle 1024xsomething size of detail graphic thingy so i revert to high option). But on windowed screen (well, it's really nice that you guys thought about this option) i played over 5 hours with just 1 - 2 times of game frozening but i was i able to open task manager to end task it.

So can anyone explain to me what is the actual problem and how to solve it to me?

We support any player that wants to play EF, but we do not give support to crack Company of Heroes.

If you successfully cracked CoH v2.602 and can play EF, good for you, it is not our business to be the Internet Police . Or at least that's my position, unlike what happens in other mods' forums where talking about having a pirate copy earns you an instaban. Just don't write a guide about it here or link it in the public section otherwise you would be banned.

The problem you have is described here... your best bet would be to try a 64 bit version of the windows you currently use, if possible. As in the link is described, this type of crash happens due to having not enough memory to continue loading objects ingame due to the 32 bit limit the Operative System has.

Your best bet is to avoid playing "unlimited pop-cap" modes or maps with too many objects and details like Lyon.

i have 3.5 GB of RAM + 2gb on the graphic card memories and yes i am using 32b OS version . What a spot of unluck to me, my favourite game mode is no pop cap limit and i usually like to play on 6 - 8p maps like berlin (some other time, i just enjoy blocking bridges in vire river (if that name is correct) 4p map. So far i am still fine with windowed mod, it's just make my mouse a bit harder to use (since i see my mouse at point A but the actual mouse which i can't see is at point B above that 1 or 2 cm).

Abort the flight was when I wanted to throw a grenade! Now crashes a few minutes after loading a map! And I can not choose to play for the USSR , thanks in advance !

Hi there, I love the mod, which is why I'm bringing  this up. It's been going on since the new steam version of Company was released, the game starts fine, but you can't select the Soviets and after a time of gameplay the game will freeze up entirely. This happens every single time and I've been keeping an eye on the forums for fixes but I haven't seen any yet. I notice that someone has already posted about this, but it hasn't really been addressed. Sorry if this seems a little bitchy but I would like a fix for this or at the very least an idea of when we might get one so I can play again.
