1.7.02 Synch error problem
« on: November 24, 2012, 01:26:20 AM »

 - 1.7.0 : Synch error. PvP or solo vs AI is ok. COOP dies brutally.
 - 1.7.01 works fine.
 - 1.7.02 Synch error in all COOP games.

 I LOVE THE PPSH fire/reload sounds :)
... T34/76 cannon shot to frontal StuG is a joke. Is it normal?

You need to post your warnings.log, your latest scarlog.txt and your bugged replay as well. Otherwise we won't be able to track down the issues.

Then you are sure you're using 1.7.0.2 right?

02:01 - [CoH:EF-Dev]Rizz: when I think about it, people with .01 can play will .02 (in lobby)
02:01 - [CoH:EF-Dev]Rizz: which may be the cause of the sync errors
02:01 - [CoH:EF-Dev]Rizz: due to only scar and art files have changed
02:02 - [CoH:EF-Dev]Rizz: hence the "checksum" hasn't changed

Is probably the reason. Make sure everyone is updated to .02

 : Confirmed, I was very 1.7.02.
Played with numerous persons, all crashed. When I say crash, I mean synch-error, game terminates.
 So no log.

But... then Kommandant0 ... went and checked, and, yes. He was 1.7.01...
He repatched, and we COOP Comp Stomped just fine :D

: Note : The computer spams obververs quite stupidly :p Non stop... I was attacked by 30+ groups of Observers on a 3vs3 map...
: Also, playing soviet, I feel the observers enhanced field of view is very poor. The Wehr bike is WAY better vision. For 2 pop, not 6 pop :p

Okay, yep you are right. I only have 1.7.0.1, but I have a new problem now as the launcher is saying I have 1.6.0.1? So when I update it tries to download goes to 1.6.1.0?

I don't know why it thinks I have that when I have 1.7.0.1 currently installed.

Any suggestions?

Edit: I've managed to get it updated by manually downloading the 1.7.0.2 patch. But your link doesn't work on your thread showing the patches. I had to download this from some dodgy Chinese website ;)
