Crash upon selecting unit

I just reinstalled EF today and connected it to the Company of Heroes file contained within program files/THQ and it launches fine and loads fine, but upon selecting a unit, the game crashes. Company of Heroes is completely updated, EF is updated, and I do not have the game from steam. Can I get a fix for this? Not anything like "reinstall EF", because that doesn't work.

This error is (probably) caused because you are playing using an outdated version of CoH, you need to have the lattest version(2.602) in order to play the lattest version of Eastern Front.

Could you upload your warning.log to be sure? Quoting yourself is not going to prove you are right ^^. But if you upload the aforementioned file we can be sure.

Uploading the file would have been more useful imo but a wall of text works.

Please be cooperative with the tech support and developers. If they ask you to uninstall and delete all the EF directories and reinstall as a fix then I would certainly listen to them.

The log has the correct information, but this kind of crash only occurs in these cases:

  • Using EF 1.40 or above with CoH 2.601.
  • Using an older version of EF(below 1.40) with CoH 2.602.
  • EF is corrupted, because it didn't remove all the old files and just mixed them up.

As you have the lattest CoH update, do you have the lattest EF version?

How did you update EF? Have you updated from an older version or downloaded the full version?

When you reinstalled EF, have you make sure you deleted all the files & folders from the previous EF installation?
