I had no idea where to ask this and I really didn't want to start an entire new topic

Has anyone seen the movie "Kelly's Heroes", "The Longest Day", or the TV series "The Pacific" . Is it any good ?

"Kelly's heroes" is awesome movie, Clint Eastwood rocks
"The Longest Day" is classic - if you are interested in WW2 in movies you should see it.

Yeah, the Longest Day is really quite good and has a huge cast of great old actors.

What about The Pacific I hear its not as good as Band Of Brothers but its still good . What do you guys think ?

What was wrong with it . Not enough character development? Too much senseless fighting? Not enough fighting? Please elaborate . Its just Im trying to find WW2 movies to purchase

Maybe I'm biased because I watched BoB first but I think it has better characters, better actors and better cinematography. I found The Pacific kind of boring.
