What does EF actually change to vCoH

Hello. I play a lot of vCoH, because i find it very balanced. I play EF and other mods once in a while, but not so much because i cant play ranked games in it.

But does EF actually change the nearly-perfect balance of vCoH? Because after 2.602 the only "real" balance issue is the staghound w/o reload.. But a minor issue.

So i just want to ask: What have been changed - and WHY has it been changed, when not necessary?

All of the vCoH balance changes we did was in 2.601. Almost all of our changes was implemented in 2.602. I believe there are 3 (or less) minor changes still in, one of them  being Siren on Strafing Run.

Looked it up, here the list:
* British infantry unable to button when inside Bren Carrier/Roo
* Snipers retain 100% accuracy vs each other
* Strafe siren warning

Maybe the EF team could fix the Stag and its MG. But its not necessarily a problem since it gives brits a way to stop infantry blobs  :P. Maybe reduce rate of fire a bit or supressiona bit ???

I wouldn't know. I never used the Stag in EF, only in vCOH  :P. Excuse me if Im wrong

Imo factions in EF should be the same as in vcoh with all its imbalance and errors. Thats special about the EF mod. Only adding a new faction but not changing the original game.

Relic balance is from from being perfect, not that EF is better in that fact :P. That line was added when the Reborn Clan did the balance on EF, very old indeed. At that time they added some of their balance suggestions for CoH to EF, as no one(even us) thought that Relic would release a new patch.

They left us some weeks after that, and after some months later they started to work with Relic, most of what they added for 2.602 was already on EF so no big deal... we just had to add the new things and remove what they don't include but we kept small things that we think would improve EF. That line should be removed for the next pacth ;).

We already had planned that when 2.602 was released, some changes would be kept and some fixes should be done.

I was under the impression we did change the Stag.
