Cannot verify media

I used to have basic CoH AND I installed ef on it perfectly fine and played it, my computer broke and i got a new harddrive etc and i decided as my disc was broken i would download of steam, i got all three, playing them was fine and it was all good, when i downloaded EF i encountered a few problems and i have become stuck... when i go on to the game it says validating media then cannot validate media and then some message about it being something to do with the serial key, i now cannot get on to any version and i cant even get pass the loading screen, ive looked at the bugs page and tried the fixes for it but cannot seem to mkae it work, can anyone help me. Also i i think i know the fix but i have one retail key on my account but cannot change it or get rid of it becuse i can't access the account

checked it out before, seen the fix but i cant use it because i have a retail cd key on my account as well but cant get rid of it

Post Merge: September 27, 2011, 08:08:26 PMAnyone else have the problem, i fixed mine by going on to steam right clicking on all of the games and getting rid of the local content, this unistalls the games but still has them in your library to redownload, make sure you have unistalled EF first[MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET THE RIGHT COH DIRECTORY]  redownload and get ef straight away and it seems to work.

You don't need to get rid of your retail account, I have updated that old information .
