Airborne Paratroopers are not that good vs light armoured vehicles(especially those nasty ACs), you should be using them vs tanks. Perhaps RRs are good vs ACs in the campaign only, you can be sure about it .

I don't know why there are so many people like you who are coming into EF and trying to make it your own little noob haven.  EF will not change anything from the vanilla factions, and this includes the USA paratroopers.

RRs are good vs every tank.
Hitting light vehicles like pumas/acs sometimes is the problem

them and shreks have lolaccuracy. although if they do hit it's a good hit most of the time.

Not neccesarily. It can do good dmg to light armor. If it actually hit it . I guess the tank is too fricken big to phase through . And the AC's and Pumas are better at kiting than tanks. And they have an effective AI gun . Take these into consideration and Airborne may fair better vs tanks.

If the phase thing wasn't there and both vehicles didn't move, Light armor would probably die faster

A single squad of AB in cover with RRs will beat a puma. Find a building, throw a satchel (crater -> yellow cover), find a bush, or build a sandbag. RRs arent your cheif source of AT either, they support your mainline shit, mainly your ATGs. RRs do the least amount of damage of all the infantry handheld AT, so keep that in mind the next time youre trying to solo that axis tank with one squad. You shouldnt try and finish off that immobilized puma either; if you can help it, leave it stranded to occupy his pop. He has to send something to repair it or has to waste resources to off-map it (assuming he went a doc that has off-maps).
