Forward "Motorpool"

In the Cherbourg mission there is a Forward "Motorpool" (which is actually a Tank Depot ::)) which can be captured to produce tanks further towards the front. I have never actually used it, because i was always at my pop-cap by that point, but i was wondering if it would be possible to put that in a skirmish/multiplayer map, with all armies (even Brits) capable of using it to produce their tanks. It would make for interesting gameplay...

Let me have a look on it..
But I actually think it's just coded to be able to produce tanks. There are some buildings from the mission "Trun", where you can recruit special units, but only Germans.

That's what i meant - Just tanks. Leave the forward troop-building to the standard Forward Barracks.

+1 But we can use this idea in one mission of Eastern Front's Campaing (when its done :) )

Remember the SCAR thing? Coding doesn't work in MP without issues.

I'd rather see Forward HQ without possibility to build units but ahving tank repair aura, like PE healing station.

If you're going to do something like that, you should have it house Pioneers, like the Wehrmacht Repair Bunker (whatever it's called).

It´s a placeable building, no SCAR needed at all.
Somewhere under "objects/singleplayer_mission/mission_X"

Two facts about it:
It´s a american tank depot with another design (only american tanks buildable)
You have to change the ownership (via SCAR or give it right from the start to one player)

Thanks Mystic-Car. So you can't have it captureable/neutralizeable, like a Forward Barracks, and able to build any-faction tanks? :(

Who needs forward motorpools?
Tanks are fast enough. It takes much longer to build a tank than to move it across the map. But Ostheer could use it as a repair bunker. :)

The idea wasn't to add these to improve gameplay - I just have quite a few ideas for maps which i am unable to try myself, so i was wondering if anybody would be able to/like to add these Forward "Motorpools", if it's possible to do so in the World Builder, without any modding. Just thought it would be interesting to try is all.
