Russian base buildings

Once the major balancing and bugs are fixed, then we might just start releasing all this content we have ready for you.

i quoted an answer to my cry for russian buildings. since the patch arrived, i still have to play with lame usa/brit/wehr repainted buildings. it's doesn't add to the feeling at all. :(((

any comments? when they'll be done? how's it going so far? do u need help? etc...

New base buildings would be incredibly complex to animate.

From what devs have said, it seems like it'll be the last thing they do, if at all.

In the time it would take to do one building, they can do about 4 to 5 tanks.

I know which I'd prefer  ;)

Come on, they aren't that bad or even game-breaking! And the Jeep peeking from the mustering does makes sense thanks to Lend-Lease.

Speaking of this, is it possible to add "normal" building recolors? I.E., French buildings with German signs and different textures?

No, civilian buildings has no building animation, it would not work  :P .

I think happycat was thinking if it was possible to add new "custom"  garrisonable buildings, not useing them for basebuilding, but for map/envioment improvement. 
could be awesome if they made some custom Terrain for EF when the time is there for it.

It would be so cool to have new map buildings instead of the same Normandy ones.

its the building animations for buildings that are hard to make. making buildings with no building animations are easy.

maybe some of the unused buildings that relic left in the game can be reused for the russians

i hope that's the case. cuz i'd be totally fine with no animations when building the structure than with those reskinned ones.

and tbh. i think they should push for unique buildings.

i would like to hear from devs, about this matter. wheres the problem and whats the holdup?
also i think i heard people from relic will give some touch to EF. whats that all about? maybe help around stuff that's hard to make (buildings)?
