Irony
« on: June 10, 2010, 08:47:14 AM »
A lot of people (not all) on the forums complain that the mod has no balance, is not historical accurate, is boring, lacks a campaign, has bugs like no recrewing etc......
But when the offer comes to help out everybody has their mouth shut. I wish i could help but i have no modding ability what so ever.
The aim of this post is so that people think before complaining and again I m not talking about constructive critisiam.

those people usually don't read anything before posting, cause if they did, they would realize that balance is being worked on, historical accuracy is not a key feature of CoH  ;D (bergetiger, pershing, etc.) and that "no recrewing" isn't a bug (it's a relic issue that can only be solved by relic). the EF team is working in their freetime so don't expect too much, a campaign will be worked on later, but right now balancing and creating the ostheer is more important ::) and btw, if they played EF just once, they should have noticed that it's not boring at all.
Jagd[tiger] is a buildable replacement for the Kettenkrad... It can cloak and cap points. :P

That would be why he kept stating "they" rather than "you".
If you get into an argument with me, you're wrong.

I can't see how someone could complain about EF not having a campaign. They're working on one right now but hell, I'm content without one. This is the only mod to successfully implement an entirely new army (with another on the way) that is perfectly compatible with the standard CoH armies and is updated regularly to fix any balance problems or glitches that are inevitable in any game. Also its free. :)

I agree with this guy 100%. dont care for campaigns anyway, I know that some do but to me its always been more fun to play with and against humans.

A lot of people also just can't deal with the russians and just generally suck, such is with all new games (and big mods)

Sadly :(

I think the situation of people not helping is more of them being pure asses rather than Irony.

well it's free and it's an extra feature of the game to play with.
So the only way forward is upward.
or something like that.
what i mean is i like it because it's free, just about anything you get for free is good.
with the exception of venereal diseases. probably not so good.

I admit i could have said that better. :P
