Game refusing to start
« on: March 25, 2010, 02:56:54 PM »
Ok, so I just recently installed EF (I have the steam version) and patched it up, etc. I also can confirm I have the newest version of CoH. However, whenever I go to launch, this occurs.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I am on Windows Vista Basic 64 bit - If you need any other specs please ask me.

Hi

I notice your launcher version isn't the same as mine (3.1.0.0).  I'm not sure if that has any bearing on this issue, but perhaps one of the patches hasn't applied correctly?

Ok, well I updated the launcher to the appropriate version. Now whenever I click Start Eastern Front, nothing happens. I checked the processes as well, nothing starts or even attempts to boot up. Ideas?
