Can't check for updates, can't send feedback

So, I decided to update my EF so i could play as soon as i get home tomorrow.

I click "Check for Updates" and this message appeared:

"A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because conneceted host failed to respond"


My internet was connected there aren't any problems with it right now.

Then I tried to report the problem with the feedback system and i filled out everything correctly, and the Send button was still locked.

Also, how do i find out what version of EF i currently have?

After you do "Check for Updates" (even if it fails) there will be a little tick box called "Show Information" below Feedback button, there you can see what verison you have.

But I assume you have 1.00, simply download this http://files.easternfront.org/ef_patch/EF_Patch_1.01.exe ,it's both the Launcher Update and 1.01 patch in one installer.

This did not fix mine...still getting the "connection attempt failed".

I've tried turning AV and firewall off.

D'oh.  I've been having the same issue for 24 hours.  Unfortunately I didn't check the date of the post, above and downloaded the file and installed it. Now it's back to the old installer (1.01) and not the new one.  Still won't connect, either.

I had figured it was because of 1.05, but I dunno ...

Me too, updated well to 1.04. But last night, I accidentally click "Check for update" and it result in something like server don't response.
