"The Soviet Union has a new unique tech-tree. There are three unit production buildings: The Red Army Infantry Mustering Tent, the Soviet Support Barracks and the Russian Tank Hall. You can build any one of these buildings at any time, given the resources. Each building has three tiers. If you only have one factory building, you can only build units of the first tier. As soon as you have any two different factory buildings, you unlock tier two in both of those buildings. With all three buildings, you can access all tier three units in all three buildings."

This is directly from the guide. It would explain everything to do with the issues in balance and why the soviets have such a good early game.

If this was implemented then the Soviet union would have to go through 130 fuel before they could even purchase an is2 and the red army would have to decide whether to get either support weapons or to wait for medium armor instead of going straight for panther killers.

IMO this would solve the balance issues of Russians in mid game.

You are right but it is 130 fuel plus the 150(right?) but IS2s should be an upgrade like the 76 Sherman or command tank before Firefly's and the amount of crap that the axis have to go through is not even funny to get Panthers. If you skip ALL buildings but the panzer command you still end up using more fuel than the soviets to get panthers and do not even speak of what the PE have to do. I am not sure whether the upgrade should be MP/Fuel based or ammo based because the ammo is already pretty well occupied by what they have in the armory but something MUST be done or at least explained.

Yea so 280 fuel total to get one is2 would be the way it would work if that was implemented but as we know they did not implement it. but isn't it just 35+50+50+40+110 idk what you are talking about. In the current patch they need 35 more fuel to get panthers. If this was implemented then they would be using 280 fuel and say the wehr went just wehr Q and then teched for panzer. It would still be fairly even only a 20 fuel gap then a 45 fuel gap for t2.  But this isn't counting any veterancy upgrades the wehr might get. so to truly balance this the Russian support command has to have a 50 fuel cost and the Russian light armor should have a 35 fuel. The t-34 should have 85 fuel and 325 Mp and the Is2 should have 600mp and 180 Fuel.

But remember guys the last patch did not even include the quote from my earlier post. If that is involved the Russian player will be stuck in the t2 section of the tech tree for all buildings until the support barracks is built.

This limits the russians to t-34 and su-85 so the russian truly cannot do a t1-t3 play because he would have to back tech to t2
