j'ai une question est-ce que les russes pourrons faire sauter les ponts ? e est-ce que ils pouront établir des casernes de campagne ?

I have a question : Will russians be able to blow bridges?
And shall they be able to establish campaign caserns?
 (Neutral building becoming a casern)(Like USA/Wehr)
You know, there are many people in the country today who, through no fault of their own, are sane. Some of them were born sane. Some of them became sane later in their lives. It is up to people like you and me who are out of our tiny little minds to try and help these people overcome their sanity

Hmm interesting points. Well I know the outposts can reinforce out in the field so I dont know about the forward barracks (i think thats what hes talking about).

As for blowing bridges, I would hope so, every other faction can in some form

 - Yea. Same. That's what I told him, too. But he meant
 forward barracks (Neutral buildings)
 - Blowing bridges, I don't recall any way the Russians
can... except via Artillery, I suppose...

 Partisans are doctrine units.
But, yea, I think those can blow bridges.

 What about regular units?
Come to think of it, PE have problems blowing up
bridges too (Vampire HT shits goliaths though, I think)

Hummel just need one direct hit to blow a bridge, try it ;) (sometimes 2 non directs hits)

compared to howitzer shots, they need a lot of rounds to take down one bridge.

and yes... Vampires shits goliaths, lol.

I never try putting a Teller mine in a bridge, what would happpen? (:

 - Hotchkiss/arty is a reward unit. Doesn't count.
 - Hummel 150mm is a Doctrine unit. Doesn't count.

 - Teller mine. Doctrine item. Doesn't count. I've tried it, though
and no, it doesn't blow the bridge.

 : Vampire-shitted goliath is ok. It's non-doctrine :)
But we're talking Soviets... what have they got?

 I'd say super mortar?

Well Americans, Wehr and Brits (upgraded Sappers) all have demolitions. PE can use goliaths thanks to the Vampire halftrack. I hope that Soviets get someway to destroy bridges other than artillery or a doctrine unit, otherwise they will be at a disadvantage on bridge maps.

would it not be simplest to have the upgraded ingenery squads have the demo ability.  That would transform a disadvantage into a healthy advantage.  What I mean is that it takes 4 charges to blow a full sized bridge and a four man ingenery squad can place all at once while any other faction except the British has to take twice as long because one or two guys have to place two charges.  So, why not eh?

-Wehr don't have Demo charges. (use werfers, incendiary, gholiats, stukas, etc but no demo chargers...)

-American ings can put 3 at the same time, then the last one, in Little infantry bridges, just need 2 charger (i know the 4/2 charges counts as one)

-British can put all at the same time, plus commandos can use demo charges in any place... i mean ANY , from strategics points to ROFLCOPTER.... 4/2 can place demo charges in bridges and the others 2/4 covers.

i think Russian need the same difficulty as PE and the Ostheer the same facility as British... talking about demo charges of course... just for a litle balance... anyway (:

Either way, I'm for whatever is balanced and flavored.
No preference here nor any idea how that can be achieved.
It's a nice idea for beta.

I think a nice upgrade like americans would be nice.

I could see the heavy mortar or the large artillery could fill the role, it's similar to how the Wehr can destroy a bridge in panic (with half track artie).  Though since both are inaccurate who knows how effective a technique that would be.

Yea, but, hmm... it's not the same...
From heavy mortar hit might be overpowered, as well :p Bleh.

Need a DEV's opinion on this.
