Crowdfunding
« on: October 03, 2015, 08:16:22 AM »
I'm just wondering here...  Have you guys (the developers) ever considered doing this?  I have no idea what your situations are, but it's just a thought to get the project much closer to where you want it to be (basically finishing it, I guess).  I'd pitch in if this came about.  I know you guys said that you wouldn't accept payment for your work and this would go against that principal, but I'm just throwing it out there.  Maybe it could be something that works out for everyone, who knows.

I don't remember if we have discussed this in the past. However, I'm not sure it will be possible to do it. At least in my case, I cannot just drop my duties to work full time in the mod.
Mors Indecepta

Might controls everything, and without strength you cannot protect anything. Let alone yourself...

That's fair, and understandable.  Finishing the mod would look pretty damn good on your resumés though :p.

Undertaking a crowdfunding project is a large effort, no doubt.  I can only imagine what would have to be done.  Ideas could be bounced off the community for the prizes, and maybe even the procedure of it among other things.  I have a few; I'm not sure if they're worth mentioning right now though.  I'm confident that through a little research and time you guys could pull it off.

I like what you guys did with the mod very much, I hope to see more later on :).  I know my support isn't really significant, but I think it's safe to say that it's a common sentiment I share with many other people.
