Actually all the new features they included are the biggest critics the playtester have for this game: True sight, campfire, weather effects and tank capture are only a few examples of what is going to make the gameplay problematic. What is left is basically coh1 with a new faction. If we take a look at this new faction you have alot similarities to EF mod. So basically coh2 and EF mod are competitors for players. EFmod has the older engine and less possibilites to improve the gameplay, but tries to keep the original vcoh gameplay, which made this franchise so great and popular.

I still don't get the game play design; in VCOH the meta game basically based on Mg flanking but here both factions have Mgs and SU has 6 man squad. I don't expect a fluid game honestly. More campy and focused on big explosions, effects- not state of art like COH but like 1980's video clips- a bunch of kitsch things.

12 razor said also in his write up, that the map layout combined with weather effects, small base sectors and make this game very slow, which is bad for multiplayer. I guess relic just looked at how many people are playing campaign and skirmishes and focused their effort on these people.

So if you play CoH2, you will have more chance to stomp the noobs. Enjoy hunting! ;D
But seriously, that a waste of money. Like most games nowaday, buy => play campaign, fullfill some achievements => boring multiplayer => delete in few weeks and the cycle begins again.

Since Relic have taken some ideas from EF, should we call Bryan Mills (aka Liam Neeson)?
