ZSU-37 as a reward unit to replace T-90
« on: June 01, 2012, 01:36:38 PM »
Hi, guys. I heard that the T-90 program was shut down in favour of the ZSU-37. Because as I recall, the EF developing team doesn't like to add in experimental things as unit in the EF, so may I suggest that we add ZSU-37 as a reward unit to replace the T-90?

ZSU arrived too late to see combat and wasn't exactly a success... T-90 is getting replaced with a T-60 when we replace the Soviet models after the Ostheer is out, which is much more appropriate.

I see.
But I thought that the Company of Hero game story started at D-day which is 6th of June, 1944. Are you sure that the ZSU-37 wasn't out by then? Also would you like to consider to only make it as a reward unit for people to choose? Thanks for reply me so fast sir.

Also is T-60 an AAA? It just I have been reading the wiki and it didn't say that T-60 is an AAA. I know that wiki is not a good source, but can you share your source with me? Thanks, much appreciated.

ZSU didn't come into production until March 1945, and by then the Luftwaffe was pretty much grounded. As for a reward, I doubt it... we have so many other things to do right now especially since CoH2 is going to be out early next year and we need to get the Ostheer out asap. I doubt I'll even get all the Soviet models finished before CoH2 is released, there's only me making and skinning models on the team right now.

And yes, T-60 was used for Anti-Air on occasion, like in this image...

20mm guns are generally Anti Air in game, same as the Sdkfz.222 and the Sdkfz.234.
