My bet for a new World War would be that it is started between Israel and Iran.
The United States will follow Israel, North Korea will follow Iran and one by one more country's will join in.

@Tico, this is a possibility. in the six day war the US backed israel while North korea and Russia backed syria, egypt, jordan, and the others.

If we have, and survive, an apocalypse of some sort or the other, bottlecaps will not be a real currency. I doubt any currency will exist. We'll just go back the the age old method of bartering.

Well you never know. There aint really any reason why everbody would go pure animal barbarians just becuse of the apocalypse. What if the only guys who survived were a bunch of pacifist bank men? Or what if the gouverment survived perfectly fine in their super protect the president bomb shelters. Iam pretty sure they would do their best to keep it their way. ( Like the enclave from the fallout universe for example.)
Suure in the beginning of the postapocalypse there will be anarchy. But later on Iam sure some or somebody will start some kind of society with money. And they will probaly try to get other people into that to. With money or force

I recommend the first mad max movie as an example were they have an perfect society with cops and stores and such even after the apocalypse. ;>
