Hmm providing that this mod is going to be based 1941-1945 by looks of things so far its gonna be a hell of a long campaign but anyways

if your ever going to do some missions in Stalingrad then might suggest sniper missions lone man snipers or sniper squads creeping through the rubble of ruined city because in Stalingrad there was lots of sniping and snipers about the city because i think sniping missions would be rather cool though rather it will be rather tough work how your going to do these sniper mission(s) because creating sniper missions in realistic war RTS games can be challenging

But pretty much just finish off in my opinion you cant leave out Stalingrad it was the biggest battle and bloodiest battle to happen in world war 2 also it was the event that changed the course of the war

I think the Mod is more 1943-45, starts round about when the Soviets started getting the upper-hand.  Stalingrad will most definitely feature in the campaign when we get round to it, along with the Kursk and Battle for Berlin... possibly.

I've been told its not 1943-45, I'll leave it at that.

Ok I've figured out the campaign if ur interested:

the campaign follows the 13th guards rifle division from it's deployment at Stalingrad to Berlin. The characters are as follows:

1. The player, lieutenant sergei trufanov (fictional)
2. The players commander, general rotmistrov
3. Player's cocommander in certain missions, captain nikolai ivanov (fictional)
4. Other lower rank characters from 13th grds div
sergeant jakob Pavlov
lieutenant Anton kuzmich dragan

the mission list is as follows:
1. Landing on the Volga and taking part in pavlov's house, then moving on to the train station to assist dragan's defence
2. Attempting to take back mamayev kurgan's summit from the germans
3. Operation Uranus (player is reassigned to 4th tank corps under A.G. Kravchenko) and breaks through the Romanian lines
4. Operation ring: reassigned to 13th grds once more, the player attacks the red October tractor works where the last Germans remain.
5. Voronezh front: the player defends the Kursk bulge on it's southern side with 13th guards part of 5th guards tank army. Mostly infantry and at, NOT many tanks at this point
6. Prokhorovka: the player is commanded to take the divisions tanks into the battle of prokhorovka in a massive tank on tank battle
7. Orel counteroffensive (yes, even though Orel is in the north and 5gta was in the south, the plan was for it to move north to take part in the counteroffensive) the player uses a combined force of tanks, infantry and friendly katyushas with plenty if air support to smash through the german lines and reach orel.
8. Operation bagration (don't know much about this, but the cpaign involved most of the red army)
9. Seelow heights: the player uses a combined force once again combined with a huge build up of friendly artillery (as In most of the german lines covered by the god of war ability as an opening barrage)
10. Berlin: don't know much about 13th grds exploits here, but there are several possibilities depending:
- take out one of the aaa towers
- take the Reichstag.... Again....
- destroy the operational maus tank (this actually happened- a soviet armored column came across it.

I've been working on this for some time, and the campaign is mostly historically acurate but also playable (ie the map with the Volga landing and the train station is about 2km in length)

however there is one problem: I don't know where pavlov's house was...
