Economics of Units
« on: August 16, 2011, 10:07:53 PM »
this topic is for posts of costs and up-keeps for all units in EF including the original factions. You can also post the reasons behind why this unit costs that amount.
This game is balanced in everyway. Every Army has its strengths and weaknesses and you use your strengths to attack the enemy's weakness. If both players know this, than it turns into a game of skill.

Don't want to burst your bubble, but one of the guys (i think Maxi, correct me if I'm wrong) is working on something like an EF stats book, that he will release soon, so this won't really be neccesary

I don't know, ask him. I don't think there is much progress yet due to his high activity as balancer in the past few weeks.

I'm working with Cranial in the final stages of this manual right now. You'll have to ask him if you want any more details though.

The guide is in 1.0 version with the next release. I am going to be implementing other units and be doing the ostheer, along with possibly getting it translated. It will be a basic how-to guide for the soviets, much like an instruction manual that you find in a box copy of vcoh.

If I am motivated enough I may include a pricing section, along with strategies on how to improve your macro/economy.

If you want a stats book, well, I guess I could boost up a wiki again.
