Well im not a member of the team, but reading the responses on the mod db site was truly depressing, so to ease the load off for the devs who have to reanswer the same questions over and over, heres an FAQ based on devs responses (anyone on the dev team please link this to mod db page)
q) When is eastern front being released?
a) there is no definite release date as yet, but release could be between a month and a year.
q) Where is the team in development?
a) Apparently all the models are ingame and its now only a matter of final art and coding.
q) Will there be a campaign?
a) possibly, but in a future update of the mod, not initial release.
q) Is the mod compatible with Opposing fronts and Tales of valor?
a) The mod is compatible with all coh expansions and the original game, but needs the latest patch
q) will there be another side to balance the red army?
a) Yes, the Ostheer will be included in a later update
q) Unit x is OP
a) all the units have been carefully thought through and balanced. All soviet units can be countered by wermacht or PE units
q) Unit x is too weak
a) see above
q) Can you make the soviets a separate alliance to the british and americans so I can make world war three?
a) No. We could, but the mod is based around the great patriotic war (World war 2 eastern front) not a what if...? scenario
q) Can i join the Eastern front team?
a) Yes you can, head over to the dev application area of
