I know that the Soviets can produce several tanks that do well against German armor, but something that they are completely lacking is a reasonable infantry AT option. Currently we have to build a Soviet Support Barracks to produce ANY sort of non-armor AT, and the Pak 38 is death for any sort of armor.
I find that when the enemy pumps out a Stug and a couple Pak 38's it's basically game over if I don't have a SSB.
Almost every other faction has some kind of mainstream infantry AT option. The Wehrmacht have panzerfausts, the Americans have sticky bombs, and the British have PIAT's. I'm not too familiar with the Panzer Elite.
The Russians, however, lack such a light AT option. We must spend valuable resources on a Soviet Support Barracks to get Guards, a Tank Hunter Squad, or an AT gun.
Now, if I wanted a serious AT option, I could understand having to build a Soviet Support Barracks. But I just want a light AT option. Something to "hit and run" with, like sticky bombs. Maybe it could be an Urban Combat upgrade for Partisans. Not sure.
