Negative still doesn't work and gives me the same error even after extracting the dll to my system directory..

I have a better idea, instead of weaving through this how about someone do it for me?  :D
If you have Windows "64 bits edition", it shall be on %WINDIR%\SysWOW64.

If not the case, then try to copy in the same path where the exe file that requested that DLL is located.

I upload my MSVCR71.dll. It's size is 340KB and its security hashes:

CRC32: 35563170
MD5: 86F1895AE8C5E8B17D99ECE768A70732
SHA-1: D5502A1D00787D68F548DDEEBBDE1ECA5E2B38CA

P.S. By the way the file is the same in either x86 or x8664.

Thanks, that did the trick, yeah I neglected to say I had Vista 64 how silly of me.  :P

Well now that that's resolved, any of you lads that are skilled in photoshop be interested in making me a loadscreen that fits with the style used in all the other load screens for ef?

Off of this shot:

You probably want a shot without the UI, at a higher resolution, and at higher graphics.

If you're making this map for the mod then you don't really need to worry about a loading screen.

Well I have packed it into a sga and as well as gone through the motions to setup the dev mode shortcut to disable the UI but it refuses to work and crashes while loading the replay.

The sga doesn't work either and when I packed it and extracted it my sgb was downsized and when I did the same process with another map it went through fine.  ???

Edit: Scratch that about not being able to get the dev mode to work, I did it manually via console even though I still want to get it to work the other way so I can turn off the ui in replays.

We have an actual load screen now, behold:

Sry for the hard critism, but i dont real like your map.
These ugly hills... : O, and in the non-playable Area flat like a Porsche (:P).

May it just looks like this because of the low graphic settings : O

Your opinion is duly noted but you have not even exprienced playing the map but hey to each their own..  :P

Besides I'm not finished with the map yet and won't be able to do so till I have returned from my trip to San Diego, so it will be awhile till the release..

Edit: I have returned and thus we have release, its an earlier build that I have released however feel free to weigh the verdict.

You shall upload the sga file, dont you? :-\. If you share the sgb you'll need to upload the resources also, am I wrong?

No, look here: http://forumplanet.gamespy.com/company_of_heroes_general_discussion/b49302/19828804/p1/

After you follow the steps for sgb it will work.

Did you tried it by yourself ????

I did and doesn't works :-X. I've created the folders and copied your file on that path:
     "C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\WW2\Data\Scenarios\MP"
in my case:
     "C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\WW2\Data\Scenarios\MP"

Eastern Front already uses "-dev" parameter. On every logfile, each time you use it, will be registered there:
     RUN-OPTIONS -dev -mod Eastern_Front -nomovies

From your source:
Quote
SGA:

This is one file, is an automatic zip of most the SGB files. This happens when the map creator chooses the "Export Package" option in the worldbuilder. So downloading this type of file is actually a shortened zip of the necessary files to play the map. Although this is usually more convenient, it does not allow several unique options when playing the map. For example, most of the maps that come with the game have a weather options drop down box; allowing you to choose weather such as Sunny or Stormy Night. It also does not include the preview of the maps starting locations. The SGA does not store these files, even if they were originally included in the files.
A Strong point of the SGA file is that the downloader cannot edit the map. So it keeps people from messing up the map and/or modifying it and redistributing it.

SGB:

This is several files that the map creator conveniently put into one zip/rar for you. This allows the map to have the weather options file and the starting position load screens that were mentioned above. The only drawback is that it takes slightly longer to download, but in my opinion it is usually worth it.

That's why I said that perhaps you forgot to upload all the map stuff or the sga file :-\.

Well, all I'll say further on the matter is last time when I used the sgb after performing a system recovery without any of this "other map stuff'" I was able to use the sgb and it worked just fine so I don't see the issue.

I can't convert it into sga for the time being due to my comp being in the shop being repaired due to damned nvidia and their untested drivers.  :-X
