EF mod is using much more resources than CoH ToV ?

With new EF v1.11 I'm getting low FPS,around 5~10 FPS lower, When I play standard Tales of Valor in Skirmish I have about 20~25 FPS when there are a lot of units on screen but with this new EF v1.11 I'm getting average ~15 FPS, sometimes even lower FPS. I didn't had this problem with EF v1.0. All setting are on High. Any ideas ?

P.S.
(I don't need stupid answers to lower setting)

I haven't had any trouble with rendering units or combat (ATI 5770 here) but I do experience significant slowdown on some EF maps in certain places. On Seelow for example, my fps drops to about 10 over the central hill but is fine elsewhere on the map. I'm not sure what the problem is but I do generally avoid EF maps, bar tannenburg/kursk.

Do you have an older CPU? There are an awful lot of individual conscript AIs to process.

How do you enable the console on CoH/EF?

Yes EF is using more resources then Vanilla, mainly due to extra more Models etc there is more RAM usage.

I use notebook:
AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core 2.0 Ghz, 3GB RAM, 256VRAM with dx10 support. It's a far from gaming notebook but ToV runs with no problem on all high (AA is 2x). EF v1.0 runs with no problem, but the new v1.11 needs memory optimisation, cause it didn't change graphic engine, so there is no need for it to be slower.  ;D  ;D ; D

Like Rizz said, there are a lot more models that are used in EF than in vCOH. Also, as GodLikeDennis stated, if you play against the russians, than there are a lot more individual soldiers which your pc needs to process (in graphic, AI, and Animation terms).

I use farily old tech in my computer. On ToV i am able to play with settings on medium. On Eastern Front everything is set on the lowest possible settings or it glitches. You say that EF uses more rescoures. Is this what is occuring?
