Wehr vs Soviets

I started out in EF playing Soviets exclusively. Decided its time to play my Wehr against the Soviets. Lost my first human game, I chalked it up to stupid mistakes. Lost my second one. Now my wehr isn’t great but its not bad. So I went back to the drawing board. Played some games against hard AI on ango and lowlands. Got beat so bad on lowlands. Hordes of conscripts, Ingenerys, sharpshooters, tank hunters and guards, even mortars. Just standing in front of a mg42 popping man after man. So I went to normal AI on lowlands and still got beat. Never had a problem beating normal USA AI. Matter of fact it is quite easy. Tried a puma rush but couldn’t get the fuel in time, Soviet AI just caps the map right out from under me.

How do you do it? Who here can beat the Soviets using Wehr on lowlands without using cheap wire tricks or pause key? We all know the AI auto win tricks that would never work against a good human player. Hell I started using the pause key and still got beat., my Wehr is not that bad. I would like to see a replay on how you do it.

Im done playing Soviets till I can figure out how to beat them.

Vetted Gren Spam actually works quite well.  MP40's on the Volks help ALOT in the early game combined with your MG's.  Once you get Vet 2 Grens Pumas are a great filler until KT comes.

Mortars.

Try to hold the line as best as possible and just pop mortar rounds onto enemy blobs.

It isnt as hard as it seems.
My cousin (Wehr) and me (PE) slauthered 3 hard ones at the weekend. You just gotta hold the line unter the inf. spam is over and you gotta go for some AT units very quickly right afterwards.

Usually i go PE-tankhunter tactics - with double schreck you can beat every green russian hell-machine with ease(always vet them off. - max off. vet means  quite good performance against inf as well!!) . The JagdPanther than, makes the rest (always def vet.) . My cousin is using the blitzkrieg tactics usually or PE-"Fallschirmjäger"- for superior inf power.

it aint that hard but it needs some practice to get used to the russians. - esecially, when the balance problems show up.
