I cannot find discussion about....The inability for Russians to call in engineers or otherwise repair a destroyed HQ. (I've seen it mentioned a few times, but nobody says anything about it)The inability for Russians to recapture fallen equipment. (I'm pretty much positive I've missed this discussion, but I just can't find it.)This is my first forum post EVER, so excuse my ignorance. I'll have other balance questions after these are answered. Thank you.
The ''call in engineers'' problem isn't a real problem because when you need it, you're already defeated!
Oooh have you ever played scheldt ? what would you do if your Hq got raped by Arty and you had no engineers left ? sure you have buildings and tons of tanks fx...
Scheldt is a noob map... only arty is ruling on... I've stop playing COH because all games were on Hochwald gap or Scheldt. I prefer use EF map, which are very good!And on these map, I've never seen a player use call-in enginners abiliti, its almost useless: if the ennemi can destroy your HQ, it mean he have arty supporting inf and tanks, and fuel, munition, manpower... Even with allies,the game is lost (except rare occasions )
The need for an OPTION to repair a destroyed HQ still stands.
Jagd[tiger] is a buildable replacement for the Kettenkrad... It can cloak and cap points.
